Curious about Yoga? Do you have friends who are? This is the perfect opportunity to give it a try. Join us for a six-week, introductory series, led by Kathy Folsom. The Benefits of Hatha Yoga Hatha Yoga is the ancient practice of physical postures, breath work and meditation for overall physical and mental health. Our Intro to Hatha Series explores the foundational practices taught in many Hatha Yoga classes. While Hatha Yoga benefits people in different ways, it’s generally found to strengthen and tone muscle as well as balance metabolism. Regular practitioners of yoga often experience a greater sense of energy, focus and balance and find it easier to relax.. The series will prepare you to join other yoga classes with confidence.
