Want to try something new?! Come explore the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga with Miranda Murphy on Friday January 17th. The primary series is referred to as Yoga chikitsa or Yoga Therapy. This is an introduction to Ashtanga with emphasis on vinyasa flow (connecting breath and movement) and a series of standing, seated and closing sequences. The asanas in the primary series are designed to realign the spine, detoxify the body, and build strength, flexibility and stamina. Ashtanga is a challenging practice but modifications for all levels of students are available. Practice and all is coming!
Ashtanga Primary series starts January 20th and will continue on Mondays at 5.45 pm, and Wednesdays at 9am at our Studio Sea.
